Observatory Tower

We were hired to carry out facade repairs and painting on the well-known Observatory Tower in Millers Point. The building has great views of Sydney Harbour and is easy to spot from the Cahill Expressway.

 

Because the building was occupied, the project came with several challenges. We needed careful planning and detailed scheduling to make sure work happened at the right times for each apartment and balcony.

 

We used four swing stages working simultaneously, with 24 swing-stage moves. We utilised other access methods, including industrial rope access and fixed scaffolding. We completed the project on time, within budget, and safely, while maintaining high quality.
